Best thing ever!

‘nuff said.

Head and shoulders above competition

I’ve tried lots of clipping apps, and none come close to the ease and versatility of this app. And the cloud-sync storage is helpful almost on a daily basis as I move between machines but always have access to clips I’ve made. The clip library has plenty of search and filter features as well, so when you have clips you use frequently, this is a great place to store them.

Uh… wow

I constantly use screenshots and image downloads from Flickr, google image search, and other sources to make powerpoints for teaching and presentations (I’m a professor). I’ve tried numerous programs to automate the process of getting images out of documents and into other documents, so I was a bit jaded when I tried this one. As a result, I was sort of amazed at how optimal this one is. I’ve tried Snagit, SnapnDrag, Grab, and a few others. This is much easier to use than all of them — at least for my needs. So if you are looking for a way to take a screenshot, copy it, and quickly paste it into a document then this is the tool for you. Or at least it is the tool for me.

Seriously cool

Revolutionary, and now essential. Version 1.4.3 reviewed 13 Mar 16

love it

I love this app. Need to learn the keyboard shortcuts to really appreciate this app. I use it all the time and can’t work without it!

Great!!

I’ve been writing some code for most of today and have been using Snappy to grab screenshots of snippets of code and notes that I can refer to while I’m writing new code, ever since I downloaded it this morning. This tool is FANTASTIC for this type of work because once the screenshot is created it floats over my code editor and I don’t have to spend time resizing windows, etc. It greatly improves my productivity!! Then, when I’m done, I double click on the screenshot and it disappears. I am loving this app and can’t imagine going back to moving windows around. Plus, I sometimes need to create screenshots of GUI and annotate them for documentation. This app will do that for me, with no fuss and bother. I used to wish OS X would allow windows to float on top, like I can do in Linux and some Window software. But, not any more! I can see Snappy will allow me to do what I need.
